Sports on the other hand is a form of entertainment and a diversion in life. Don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of some sports myself but I get more pleasure by reading about the life of an artist or musician. I get such pleasure from a painting that speaks to me. Like most people, I can sit and soak up a favorite musician over and over again.
People will pay $130 a piece for tickets to the football game or basketball game. Would that they have the appreciation of art to spend as much for a painting that brings a life time of pleasure.
