What is
counterchange? Well, it's quite simple really. It's the pictorial design established by playing light against
dark and
dark against lights. Practically all paintings
employ counterchange, except for those mono toned minimalist pieces done in the 60's. This little piece is full of
counterchange. It's also currently up for auction on
eBay.
